Chili Lime Chicken Wings
This may sound a bit crazy, but I am getting a head start on game day party foods with these Chili Lime Chicken Wings! It can be hard to socialize while living a keto lifestyle, so I plan to be prepared for every occasion so that no one feels left out!
Not that anyone will know that these delicious morsels are keto! They are tangy, have tons of flavor from the spices and just a hint of sweetness to round out all of the flavors…Amazing!!
How to make Chili Lime Chicken Wings:
Cut the wings at the joints and discard the tips. Place the wings in a large bowl, set aside.
Add the olive oil, lime juice, lime zest, sugar, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt and garlic powder into a bowl and whisk to combine.
Pour the marinade over the chicken wings, toss to combine and thoroughly coat. Set aside.
Heat oven to 450 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Place the chicken wings on the prepared baking pan and bake for 15 minutes.
You do not want the wings to touch! Use a second baking sheet if needed.
Remove from the oven and turn the wings over using tongs.
Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes. Flip wings a second time and place under the broiler for 3 to 5 minutes to brown and crisp up the skin.
Serve with lots of napkins!!
Recipe Tips & Tricks
